Twin-Relect at the Research Staff Conference in Manchester "Futureproof your career – Collaboration, Development, & Sustainability"

Two postdoctoral researchers from the University of Thessaly, George-Ioannis Paliaroutis and Pelopidas Tsoumanis, attended the Research Staff Conference on January 15, 2025, at The University of Manchester.

The conference, themed Futureproof Your Career – Collaboration, Development, and Sustainability, provided an excellent opportunity for researchers to engage in expert panels, interactive workshops, and networking sessions aimed at strengthening research careers in a rapidly evolving landscape.

The event sparked engaging discussions on research sustainability, delving into innovative strategies for maximizing long-term impact. Workshops offered valuable insights into interdisciplinary networking and AI-powered grant writing, providing participants with actionable skills to propel their research forward. It also facilitated meaningful connections with researchers from the University of Manchester, Salford, and Manchester Metropolitan University, fostering stronger collaborative opportunities within the academic community

As part of the TWIN-RELECT initiative, the researchers actively participated in discussions on fostering international collaborations and identifying future research opportunities in reliable electronics.
